Welcome to Overcast Boku! (Yes, I know what "Boku" means in Japanese. Think of it as reverse Engrish.) This is a mp3 rotation LJ focusing mainly on J-pop, although every once in a while I put up a K-pop song. The Japanese music I do put will be diverse, ranging from Hip-hop to regular pop to rock, and maybe even an enka song or two. I'll try to put up recent releases, usually stuff that has come out in the past week, supplemented by some older songs sometimes.

Here are some basic rules, similar to other sites:

1) PLEASE PLEASE comment, esp. since I'm just starting out on this. I need to know if people are actually viewing and downloading, so I can know if it's worth my time to do all this.

2) This is common, of course, but these mp3s really are for evaluation purposes, and legally you're supposed to delete them after 24 hours. I --strongly-- encourage buying an artist's CD if you like their work. I'll always have links to buy the CDs at one of two different stores that are known to be legitmate. The main reason I do this is to inform others of artists I like, not to EVER steal money from them.

3) Uh.....please don't hotlink to my little yousendit site links or CD images directly. If you want to save my cover images, I don't mind at all, but you can find much higher quality pictures elsewhere :)

4)Also, my download links are going to be yousendit, so make sure you open the first link by left clicking, and then you can right-click the second link after that.

5) Because yousendit only lasts a week, I will only upload ONE link at a time. After a week, I THEN will upload the mirror.

Misc Notes:
* I try not to copy other Music LJ's styles....if you are the owner of another Mp3 LJ and think stuff is too similar as far as layout goes, comment and I'll try to work something out. It hopefully shouldn't happen though ^__^

* The LJ icons are made by by LJ users kirane, shabondama and dslvg - thanks! shabondama's icon is my current one.

Also, if you strongly like or dislike my layout and colors used, please tell me in a comment. I welcome any suggestions :)
